Erkan has 15 years of experience in financial advisory, especially in investment banking, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), financial due diligence and company valuations.
During his 15-year career, he worked as director in Deloitte Turkey Financial Advisory department and as Associate Director at Lazard & Raiffeisen Investment Bank.
He has held managerial roles in various disciplines of financial advisory, especially in corporate finance, investment banking, buy and sell-side merger and acquisition (M&A) advisory, financial due diligence projects and company valuations.
He took part in completed mergers and acquisitions transactions with a total transaction value of more than USD 1 billion and participated in more than 100 financial due diligence and company valuation projects.
He holds a deep level of transactional experience in multiple industries, including retail and consumer products, technology and e-commerce, media and telecommunications, industry and manufacturing, construction and construction materials, pharmaceuticals and healthcare, cargo and logistics, power generation and distribution.
Throughout his career, he served many leading Private Equity and Venture Capital Funds, as well as global strategic investors in local and cross-border transactions.
He pioneered financial advisory services and mentoring activities tailored for the Startup and VC ecosystem under the DeloitteUP initiative within Deloitte Turkey.
Having a bachelor's degree from Boğaziçi University, Department of Economics, Erkan completed the MBA program at Koç University.
